How to Apply Bioteam?
Proper and complete application is crucial for the success of Bioteam's biological activity. Before applying Bioteam, pay attention to the following:
Packaging Selection and Storage Conditions
Bioteam is available in packaging options containing 50 million, 250 million, and 500 million units of the biological control agent. Choose the most suitable packaging size based on the number of trees you need to treat. Once opened, the entire package of Bioteam should be used at once. Always check the expiration date on the package before use.
Bioteam has a shelf life of a maximum of 45 days from the production date due to its biological nature. If you plan to use Bioteam at a later date, store it in a dark environment at temperatures between 2-6 °C. Bioteam is active within the temperature range of 8-28 °C.
Preparation of Bioteam
You can use various types of sprayers, such as motorized sprayers, sprinkler systems, backpack sprayers, or even a gardening bucket.
Ensure that the application tank is completely clean before filling it with water. Fill the application tank halfway with chlorine-free, cold (15-20 °C), and clean water.
Adjust the total amount of water to be used so that each square meter of the application area receives a minimum of 5-10 liters of water for each plant.
Remove all filters and sieves in the application tank to prevent clogging.
To prevent clogging of the spray nozzle, the diameter should be larger than 0.8 mm (800 microns).
Add the entire package of Bioteam to a separate bucket containing 10 liters of water and stir for 5 minutes. Transfer the homogenous mixture from the bucket to the application tank, which should be half-filled with water. Add the remaining amount of water to the tank.
Application of Bioteam
Use a total of 1 million units of Bioteam for each tree. Apply a maximum pressure of 5 bar to the spray nozzle and gun.
Ensure that the mixture is continuously stirred during application to prevent settling.
Continue stirring throughout the application process.
After application, maintain soil moisture by watering for 3-4 weeks.
